In this PhD Pharmacology it is three year or four year duration doctoral level of course. The course related to the study of the drugs and how they affect the body. PhD PHARMACOLOGY ADMISSION PROCESS:

Admission to the PhD programme shall be based on the candidate marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the respective department of school of the particular or each university or college. Those candidates who have completed their GATE/NET/SET/ M.Phil Examination in the perminent subjects of the apex bodies as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR will be disown from the Entrance Test. While giving the exemptions, the Departmental Committee of the university may be consider research work or earlier PhD or experience done by the candidate. If a candidate already holds the Doctor of degree in the relevant subjects from the UGC Approved University or College, he or she may be exempted from entrance exam and pre PhD coursework. After clearing the both steps the candidates will be eligible to pay the course fee or registration fee. Only the predetermined or in small number of candidate may be admitted to the PhD programme of Pharmacology.
